Where smart trumps big

Farleigh Wada Witt was formed in 1981 with one purpose and a world of ambition. Our mission then was the same as it is today: To provide timely and effective legal service and guide clients to success in a competitive marketplace. We combine wisdom and creativity to solve client problems and use experience and technology to deliver insightful legal advice, in hours instead of weeks.

Mark Wada Elected President of The Campaign for Equal Justice
4/1/2012

Mark Wada has been elected President of The Campaign for Equal Justice (CEJ) for a two-year term beginning April 1, 2012. He will preside over CEJ as the nonprofit continues its mission of ensuring access to legal services. Mark is a strong advocate for equal justice and has served on the CEJ board and co-chaired its mid-sized law firm committee for a number of years.

"I feel it is important for our community that all Oregonians have access to the courts," says Mark. "I believe it is every lawyer's obligation to support equal access to justice." He notes that Farleigh Wada Witt attorneys have generously supported CEJ since shortly after it was established by lawyers in 1991.

Mark maintains a specialized practice representing banks, commercial lenders, private equity funds, equipment lessors and other financial service providers. He has been recognized by his peers and selected to the Oregon Super Lawyers list for six straight years (2006-2011) in the specialty area of banking law and named as one of The Best Lawyers in America® 2010-2012 for his banking expertise.
