Beaverton, OR based First Tech was founded in 1952 by seven employees of Tektronix Corporation. First Tech has been at the forefront of credit union technology ever since, having invented online banking and pioneered the use of ATM networks. In 2002 First Tech merged with State Employees Credit Union, and in 2004 First Tech acquired Oregon Metro Credit Union. First Tech currently has more than 135,000 members in Oregon and Washington.
