Scott is a founding shareholder of Farleigh Wada Witt. He maintains a diverse business law, corporate, and litigation practice with special expertise in public and private securities offerings, business formations, mergers and acquisitions, antitrust law, real estate, stock options and incentive programs, employment agreements, and licensing contracts.

Scott's litigation practice includes environmental claims, insurance coverage disputes, and special counsel to public company litigation committees. In addition to the private practice of law, Scott worked previously as corporate attorney for a Fortune 500 company.

Scott counsels clients on state and federal environmental regulations, equity incentives including stock options and restricted stock plans, employment contracts, limited liability companies, corporate law, securities and antitrust compliance.

Scott is a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Oregon Center for Law and Entrepreneurship, and a member of the Board of Directors and past President of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for Oregon/SW Washington.

He is a member of the Washington State Bar, the Oregon State Bar, and has chaired the Oregon Bar Sponsored Insurance Committee and the Oregon Bar Committee on Community Service and Public Affairs. Scott is also a member of the Antitrust Section, and Corporation, Banking, and Business Law Section of the American Bar Association.

Scott and his wife have two married sons. Scott and his family enjoy sailing, skiing, mountain biking, and fly fishing.
